Prayer is essential to our life as Christians. Whether you have been walking with Jesus one day or many years, joining one of these ministries is a great way not only to participate in community, but also to draw closer to God. We encourage everyone to get involved!
Intercessory Prayer Ministry
“I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone– for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:1-4)
Intercession is praying on behalf of someone else. We receive many of these prayer requests from community members and ministry leaders and are committed to bringing these requests before the Lord. Intercessors pray together every week. If you would like to attend please email us at office@fwcommunity.org

Elder Prayer
Need prayer in Costa Mesa or surrounding areas? Our elders are available by appointment to do house blessings or provide hospital visits. Please contact Lead Elder Danny Shay at elderprayer@fwcommunity.org to request prayer.
Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. (James 5:13-16)
