Old Church Choir

Sometimes you got just rise up and declare!!!

I woke up yesterday with the song “Old Church Choir” by Zach Williams on my heart and mind (lyrics below).  Tonight we gather via Zoom.  Tonight we get to be that church choir as we declare and make the stand that no one can steal our JOY!!

This week is getting a bit tougher. The novelty has worn off and the kids are going a bit stir crazy. I want to Batten down the hatch, crawl under the covers, stay there till all this goes away. But for today, I’m not gonna. Instead, I will rise in opposition of what I feel. I will hold on to the reality that Jesus came to give life and life abundant. Yes in this moment too.

John 10:10 Revised Standard Version (RSV)
10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

You might not experience this to be fully true either. For many of you, this might seem impossible. What we do have is prayer. Let’s ask the Holy Spirit to meet us in where we are. But more, let’s stand and declare his goodness and his grace.

Also, Today is our fast day. It will be harder I think than previous weeks because I’m home by the food and not able to be as preoccupied. However, I’m fasting today with you and for you. I encourage to you do the same. For the fast today, I’m declaring that nothing will steal our joy.

I’m looking forward to worshiping together with you on Zoom. Tonight at 7pm. Let us come together and celebrate.

Here are the bullet points:

– We ARE gathering to worship at 7pm pm via Zoom;
– Please reach out if you have specific needs. We want to be in community as much as possible;
– We understand that resources are precious and may be tight. We encourage you to seek the Lord in your tithe and offering. There are many good places that need resource and assistance. We will continue to be the church and therefore, . You may give online @ FWCommunity.org/give;
– We are a family, let us continues to be with each other, spreading joy, grace, and expectancy;

Peace,
Brad

Lyrics
There’s revival, and it’s spreading
Like a wildfire in my heart
A Sunday morning, Hallelujah
And it’s lasting all week long

Can you hear it?
Can you feel it?
It’s the rhythm of a gospel song
Oh, once you choose it, you can’t lose it
There ain’t nothing, there ain’t nothing gonna steal my joy

I got an Old Church Choir singing in my soul
I got a sweet salvation and it’s beautiful
I’ve got a heart overflowing ’cause I’ve been restored
There ain’t nothing gonna steal my joy
No, there ain’t nothing gonna steal my joy

When the valleys that I wander
Turn to mountains that I can’t climb
Oh, you are with me, never leave me
Oh, ’cause there ain’t nothing, there ain’t nothing gonna steal my joy

I got an Old Church Choir singing in my soul
I got a sweet salvation and it’s beautiful
I’ve got a heart overflowing ’cause I’ve been restored
There ain’t nothing gonna steal my joy
No, there ain’t nothing gonna steel my joy

Clap your hands and stomp your feet
Till you find that gospel beat
‘Cause it’s all you’ll ever need, all you’ll ever need
Clap your hands and stomp your feet
Till you find that gospel beat
‘Cause it’s all you’ll ever need

All you’ll ever need
I’ve got an Old Church Choir, singing in my soul
I got a sweet salvation and it’s beautiful

I got an Old Church Choir singing in my soul
I got a sweet salvation and it’s beautiful
I’ve got a heart overflowing ’cause I’ve been restored
There ain’t nothing gonna steal my joy
No, there ain’t nothing gonna steal my joy
Oh, there ain’t nothing gonna steal my joy
